Yarn Picker

Reporting to the Yarn Picking Supervisor, we require a Yarn picker to work in our fast-paced Yarn department. Sorting, picking and packing of yarn for daily orders.

Picking and packing yarn with the ability to cross check product/lot numbers against orders with the ability to pro-rata weights to ensure the correct quantities.

**Role and Responsibilities**

This is not an exhaustive list of duties but gives an outline of the role and responsibilities of this position.

**Warehouse**
- Picking & packing of luxury yarns using picking lists
- Cross check carton numbers and weights against all picking lists
- Stock Control - including regular stock takes and receiving of goods
- Preparation of outbound goods
- Scanning all goods using a touch screen warehouse system
- Maintaining cleanness of the work area

**Health and Safety**
- Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times
- Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times
- Wear correct personal protective equipment as supplied
- Ensure correct manual handling procedures are adhered to

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**

Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard in English and Maths
