**About the Job**

**Job Title**:Quality Inspector

**Reports to**:Quality Manager, Production Manager, Directors

**Based at**:Blackburn

**Salary - **£27,100 per annum

**Job Summary**:
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Achieve and promote customer quality expectations.
- Ensure compliance with the internal quality system and drive changes where identified.
- Assist with the creation of quality control documentation.
- Assist with customer visits, samples, and audits.
- Work with the team to realise quality-focused procedures and processes.
- Using the ERP system to record checks on individual jobs.
- Attend work on the shift times established by the employer without excessive absenteeism or lateness.
- Arrive and be ready to work at the time your shift starts.
- Adhere to and promote health and safety requirements.
- Always wear supplied and appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work a reasonable amount of overtime to meet the needs of the business.

**Key skills**:

- ISO 9001:2015 trained/aware.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to use basic measuring equipment such as tape measures, Vernier Callipers, and protractors.
- High attention to detail.
- Flexible approach.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Experience within an engineering environment.
- Sheet metal experience is advantageous.
- Experience within a continuous improvement environment.
- Experience in driving and delivering quality procedures.
- Six Sigma/Lean/5s/Kaizen, trained/aware would be advantageous.
- Minimum grade C in GCSE Maths and English.
