Tig Welder

**Swift Temps is collaborating with a prominent industry leader located near Blackpool, in close proximity to the airport. Our client is currently seeking skilled TIG WELDERS to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis, owing to a surge in sales and production.**

**Pay : £12.81 to £15.02 per hour, depending on experience.**

**Shift**
**Monday to Thursday 2.30pm - 12.30am**

Please note that training takes place on the day shift which is 6am to 2.30pm.

The client is open to accommodating flexible working hours and can consider reduced hours if necessary.

**Responsibilities of the TIG Welder**
- Review and comprehend production blueprints for planning and executing welding projects
- Adhere to welding safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
- Perform welding operations in accordance with specified dimensions and general testing criteria
- Regularly maintain and clean welding equipment
- Advocate for proper housekeeping practices
- Achieve production targets while upholding quality standards
- Precede by arranging, measuring, and aligning metal pieces before welding, employing tools like straightedges, rulers, and calipers

**Qualifications for the TIG Welder**
- Keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in problem-solving
- Demonstrated expertise in TIG welding
- Strong precision and organizational abilities
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in a similar role is essential and references must be obtainable for the last 2 years.
