Clothing Designer

**We are looking for an experienced Clothing Designer to join our leading-edge product development team.**

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Design and development of on-brand clothing and footwear products
- Delivering innovation and originality to our product portfolio
- Delivering production ready files to suppliers
- Overseeing sourcing, prototyping and sampling
- Maintaining a robust testing procedure to ensure QC of products
- Market research to understand customer requirements, latest trends, competitor landscape and areas of opportunity
- Quality checking stock arrivals
- Collecting and understanding feedback from a worldwide consultancy team
- Supporting with product packaging and instructional information
- Involvement in design of soft têxtile products such as luggage items
- Liaising with stakeholders, suppliers and manufacturers through the development process

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Experience in clothing design (for fishing or outdoor use is preferred)
- Understanding of garment composition and technology
- High-level drawing and design skills, with proficiency in CAD and associated software packages (i.e. Illustrator)
- Creativity to offer design solutions from concept
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and to deadlines
- Personality and interpersonal skills that are suited to a friendly, dynamic team environment
- Knowledge of fishing and/or outdoor markets is preferred
