**We are seeking a highly organised and professional Temporary QA/QC Specialist to join our team. This is a temporary role and ideally suited to a well-established contractor who has delivered in a similar role and environment.**

**Project runs from Jan to Nov 2024. - this could be extended. Working patter is still being confirmed. This will likely be a 3 week on 1 week off rotation pattern.**

**Purpose**:
The Quality Advisor is responsible for providing QA and QC support the business and project based in the Shetland islands.

**Specific Duties**:

- Minimum of five years’ work experience in a quality-based role (Ideally in a civil engineering environment) other regulated sectors are also considered applicable.
- Experience with codes of practice for quality such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
- Experience with the NCR process
- Takes responsibility for decision-making, with autonomy and within the guidelines of the work instruction, for their workplace, and for their productivity. Ability to work well with others
- Ensures that Project requirements for quality standards are identified, communicated to all relevant parties, and monitored.
- Attends, when required, project progress meetings to discuss problems affecting quality and for ensuring that action programmes are agreed and implemented.
- Prepare, in conjunction with the Project Manager, the project specific QMP and ITP, ensuring that client acceptance is obtained.
- Undertake internal and external quality audits at all stages of the delivery process including supplier auditing and such as FAT’s.
- Compilation of the project handover records.
- Lead auditor qualification is desirable.
