**Salary/Hours**: Starting at **£22,141 - £24,373** pa ProRata-dependent on qualification and experience (Band 3 Equiv) - For a 14-hour week over 2 days - Monday & Tuesday (TBC)

Headway Birmingham & Solihull are a leading ABI - Acquired Brain Injury Charity.

**We are excited to be starting a new service in April 2023. This will be a Wellbeing Hub, where as part of their programme, brain injured people will be able to access Physiotherapy, SALT and a variety of Wellbeing sessions. This will be in small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis.**

Our clients will have been through formal clinical rehabilitation, however, for many, whilst this can be the start to getting on the road to recovery, they often have some specific issues that need further support.

An acquired brain injury can be a journey travelled for the rest of their lives and they may find they have changing needs at different points of the journey.

We are seeking someone part time, but there is the opportunity for this to grow into a full time post if they so wish.

**Job Summary: -**

Ø To work as an integrated part of the multi-professional team (Physio, OT and SALT).

Ø You will be supported by specialist therapists to deliver a range of therapy programmes both 1 to 1 and to small groups of clients..

Ø To deliver/support wellbeing sessions were required.

Ø Contribute to the setting of appropriate treatment goals in liaison with the therapists and the client

**Experience and requirements: -**

Ø NVQ/QCF level 3 in healthcare or equivalent /Practitioners Diploma or BTEC or equivalent

Ø Previous experience of working with people with disabilities and knowledge of brain injury is desirable, but not essential.
