Position: Damp and Mould Surveyor

**Salary**: £34,750 - 37,575 Plus £950 Car Allowance (pending pay award, backdated to start date)

Location: East Midlands, United Kingdom

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a reputable East Midlands based Housing Association as a Damp and Mould Surveyor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive damp and mould surveys in various residential properties across the East Midlands region.
- Identify and assess the root causes of damp and mould issues through thorough inspections and analysis.
- Collaborate with tenants and property owners to provide expert guidance and advice on effective remediation and prevention strategies.
- Compile detailed reports outlining survey findings, recommended actions, and cost-effective solutions.
- Liaise with maintenance teams, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient implementation of corrective measures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to damp and mould prevention and management.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in conducting damp and mould surveys within residential properties.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and structural elements impacting damp and mould occurrence.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for accurate moisture measurement and assessment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Relevant qualifications in building surveying, construction, or a related field are preferred.
- A valid drivers license and access to transportation for travel within the East Midlands region.
