**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Global Head of NGLs and Base Chemicals to join Wood Mackenzie’s Oils and Chemicals Markets team. The Oils and Chemicals Research team is a highly respected group of analysts producing market-leading research covering the oils and petrochemical value chains, from crude oil and NGLs to fuels, polymers and recycled plastics.

The role is responsible for leading a global team of analysts covering NGLs, Olefins, Aromatics, and Methanol markets. This will include setting the strategic priorities for the team, driving the commercial success of the products in the portfolio, managing and developing the analysts in the team, ensuring delivery of high-quality research deliverables in an efficient manner, and acting as a point of contact for senior stakeholders within and without the organisation.

**Main responsibilities**

They will be accountable for the delivery of the suite of short
- and long-term markets products that the team is responsible for, and for the commercial success of these products.

Working with peers from within the Oils and Chemicals Research team - and the wider organisation - to set the strategic direction of the business, and for the implementation of that strategy, including the development of new products and services, and new ways of working.

Supporting the team in interactions with senior clients and wider stakeholder groups.

Actively contributing to the Oils and Chemicals team to support the delivery of wider commercial objectives, including supporting subscription sales, resource management and contributions to consulting engagements.

- Substantive experience successfully leading teams and helping develop team members.
- A track record of delivering on commercial objectives and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills.
- Enthusiasm and energy for identifying new ways of working and delivering change.
