We're delighted to be working exclusively with The Holker Group. The Holker Group is a diverse range of businesses in South Cumbria including let property, farming, forestry, leisure and tourism, stone and slate quarrying, property development and estate agency. You'll likely know some of the Holker brands This includes: Holker Hall, Cartmell Racecourse, Holbeck Homes and Burlington Stone.

**The role**:
We're looking for a HR Advisor to provide guidance, support, and expertise to both employees and management regarding HR policies, practices, and employment-related matters. The next 12 months is a busy time with lots of projects to get involved with (alongside the day-to-day) with the business looking to understake a harmonisation piece along with dialling up the performance of its new HR Information System.

**Responsibilities**:
Employee Relations: Acting as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related issues, including providing advice on company policies, procedures, and employment laws.

Recruitment and Selection: Assisting with the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements, creating job descriptions, posting job advertisements, reviewing CVs, conducting interviews, and coordinating the selection process.

Policy and Procedure Development: Participating in the development and review of HR policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with legal requirements and best practices.

Performance Management: Assisting with performance management processes, including providing guidance to managers on setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing performance-related issues.

HR Administration: Maintaining employee records, HR database, and processing HR-related documentation.

HR Reporting and Analysis: Preparing HR reports and analyzing HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Further Implementation of HR System: Making sure we get the best from the HR system and its functionality.

**About you**:
With almost 200 employees and a mix of core, seasonal and casual (some of which are unionised) we're looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You'll be supported by an excellent HR Manager, and we're open to considering anyone from HR Assistant level upwards. Ideally CIPD qualified, you'll have experience in a demanding HR setting and be ambitiously searching for career progression.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
