Role: Data Installation Engineer

**Salary**: £28,000-£33,000 + Overtime/Travel Time (OTE £40,000 PA)
Hours: Monday - Friday, days only 40 hours per week + National/International travel all paid)
Location: Cottenham, Cambridgeshire + Nationwide Travel with occasional international travel

As the UKs leading data centre solutions manufacturer, were looking for installation engineers to join the Dataracks team.
The Package:
A great base salary with a review following a successful 3 month probation
25 days annual leave + Public Holidays (34 days in 2023)
Company Pension & Sick Pay
Any Hours Worked Over 40 hours Monday-Friday are paid at 1.33X (i.e £15 per hour = £19.95 per hour)
Overtime rates on a Saturday, 1.5X - On a Sunday 2X
Travel Time Paid + Any Overnight stays & Food/Drink Allowance
Opportunity to be trained & developed surrounding an array of data installation & servicing in commercial & industrial settings

Day to Day:
Travel Nationwide alongside some International Travel (All accommodation & travel paid) to install & service an array of blue chip clients with an array of bespoke data systems/storage including, but not limited to
- Server Racks
- Network Cabinets
- IT Security Cages
- Hot & Cold Containment
- Airflow & Cooling Systems
Provide a high level of customer service, liaising with both the clients & within your team while installing on customer premises
Install products & equipment to a high standard, carrying out the relative checks to ensure systems of installed correctly
The use of company vehicle to travel throughout the UK
**Requirements**:
Ability to read & work from technical drawings - training will be provided if not.
Prior experience as a data installation engineer or within the telecoms industry, further experience in an industrial setting would be advantageous
Previous experience working within a live Data Centre would be a bonus
Ability to work alone & as part of a team
Full Drivers License
Happy to undergo a DBS Check
