**Job Title**: Fundraiser
**We are recruiting for a talented and passionate fundraiser to join our team**
We are looking for a fundraiser to join our team and help our organisation develop fundraising programs to meet our fundraising goals throughout the year.
You will have overall responsibility for Vibe’s revenue growth and supporting the business development strategy. You will be responsible for income generation of considerable value, taking personal ownership over how funds are raised. Fundraiser responsibilities include recruiting sponsors, leading promotional activities and maintaining relationships with current donors.
You will work with the Business Development team to identify potential donors while also interacting with our organisation’s leaders to find opportunities to help us reach our financial goals.
**Person Specification**
The successful person will have working knowledge and experience of project management, monitoring, evaluation and running and meeting projects to deadlines under pressure.
You should have/be

- Proven experience of delivering income growth in a non-profit fundraising setting
- Experience of developing and successfully launching new community and/or events products
- Proven knowledge of online fundraising tools and digital marketing
- Excellent communication skills and ability to create and maintain relationships
You should have a strong commitment to young people and a thorough knowledge of the issues they face, working with passion and motivation. You will gain an in depth understanding of our fantastic Theory of Change which supports young people to develop positive relationships.
**Strategy**
- Take responsibility for Vibe’s fundraising strategy and implementation. Work with the BDM to ensure the ongoing development of the strategy and plan
- Contribute to the Vibe corporate strategy and policy
- Ensure young people are at the heart of all we do.
**Delivery**
- Relationship building and successful bid writing to foundations, trusts and other sources of donation. This will involve end to end ownership of the process including identifying funding opportunities, project creation, bid creation and submission and monitoring/review process
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with philanthropists to secure their investment. This will involve identifying potential philanthropists and developing a positive relationship with them to understand and address their needs
- Encouraging involvement of major donors with the work of Vibe and helping them to engage their peers to support Vibe. This could involve relationships at Board level and the potential for the development of a Fundraising Advisory Committee
- Developing an approach to community fundraising
- Encouraging an understanding throughout the organisation of the value of fundraising and positive relationships with funders
**People**
- Engage young people where possible/practical in the fundraising process
- Support and collaborate with other teams/departments on key projects as requested
**Managing resources**
- Ensure that fundraising activity increases funding year on year.
**Monitoring and evaluation**
- Ensure that the Fundraising strategy and activities deliver on the Vibe Theory of Change.
- Maintain a continuous review of operational performance in relation to sector best practice.
- Identify and deliver on areas of improvement.
**Building relationships**
- Manage and develop key partnership arrangements across a range of colleagues, agencies, stakeholders, funders and partners
- Proactively grow and develop new partners, as well as new partners and funders within the North West
- Review the needs of relevant stakeholders to ensure services are shaped to meet their needs and funding revenue streams
- Ability to work independently, tackle problems creatively and think laterally
- Outstanding written and communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, ability to communicate effectively at CEO and SMT level
