**Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of food service. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the hospitality industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting Senior Kitchen Staff (Commis and Head Chef).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform other duties as assigned. (EG. General Cleaning Tasks)

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restuarant environment.
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices (Food Hygiene & Safety Training preferred but not essential.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- **This role would ideally suit an older individual with relevant experience or somoene currently working as a Kitchen Porter/Assistant looking to progress, learn more about the role and develop there culinary knowlege and skills. **_

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £8.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
