We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant / Administrator to join a lovely and successful growing business - Having been established for over 50 years with 250+ staff they are looking for another member to join as part of their HR Team.

The role of HR Assistant / Administrator will include:
- Supporting the HR Team across all areas of the HR Function
- Producing offer letters and employment contracts and processing leaver administration
- Manage the onboarding process from right to work checks, references, new starter set up paperwork and IT and inductions.
- Ensuring employee files and information are up to date in-line with GDPR Regulations including new starters, absence management and return to work forms.
- Administering changes including promotions, transfers, pay changes, job titles.
- Assist with the recruitment process - reviewing CVs, arranging interviews, and liaising with agencies.
- Support the payroll team with providing new starter and leaver information and updating Sage Payroll
- Providing cover for payroll as required
- Assist the HR manager with ad-hoc projects as required.
- Must have experience of working within a human resource team
- A solid background within administration
- Experience in assisting with recruitment.
- Good use of MS Office including Word and Excel with excellent attention to detail
- Experience of Sage systems and payroll administration an advantage but not essential
- Confident in communicating at all levels.
