**Childcare Apprentice**

**THE ROLE**: to get children ready for the world through play

Seahorse Nursery is a **family-run** group of nurseries in Southfields and Wimbledon Park (SW19, famous for tennis). We are looking for an apprentice wanting to gain a qualification whilst working. This is an excellent opportunity to qualify as Level 3 Early Years Educator, enhancing previous experience or starting out on a new career path.
- **Pay**: £6.40 for under 18, £8.60 for 18-20 & £11.44 for 21 and over per hour

**Day to day**
- Prepare and complete activities based on children's stage of development and interests
- Contribute to planning and evaluation of activities
- Develop strong partnerships with parents/carers
- Provide an inclusive environment for colleagues, children and visitors
- Safeguard the children: safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility

**Requirements**:

- GCSE or Functional Skills Maths & English (desirable)
- Looking for a meaningful job and passionate about child education
- Positive attitude
- Available to work all year round
- Suitable references and DBS checks

**Job Types**: Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
