Are you a natural leader with a passion for craftsmanship and operational excellence? Our client is seeking a Finishing Team Leader to spearhead the transformation of raw components into stunning production sets. Lead and motivate a 10-person team in delivering exceptional finishing work on high-end boats, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.

- Team Leadership:_
- Manage and motivate a 10-person team of boat finishing specialists, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Delegate tasks effectively, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and effective problem-solving.
- Operational Excellence:_
- Oversee all stages of the finishing process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
- Manage inventory levels and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.
- Participate in project planning meetings, providing insights and recommendations from the finishing team perspective.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and proactively identify potential issues.
- Address concerns or issues raised by stakeholders, finding solutions that benefit all parties.
- Generate and present reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and demonstrating team progress.
- Track and analyze offline production data, identifying areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Implement data-driven initiatives to enhance team efficiency and project profitability.
- Collaboration & Communication:_
- Partner closely with Logistics and other stakeholder managers to ensure smooth material flow and project alignment.
- Address interdepartmental concerns and negotiate solutions collaboratively.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and cost.
- Qualifications:_
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in boat finishing, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
- Proven experience leading and motivating production teams in a marine or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of boat construction and finishing processes; automotive background or similar roles considered.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with effective communication skills.
- Collaborative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
