VTA Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with our client who is a leading supplier to the fish and chips/ fast-food sector. This friendly family-run business has been established for over 100 years supplying industry traders throughout the Northwest, North Midlands and Mid Wales.

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable Driver's Assistant. We have fantastic opportunities for hardworking, driven and flexible individuals to join our team doing a hands-on role.

**The main duties of the role includes**:

- Manual handling
- Loading and unloading the van
- Picking/ packing orders for delivery and loading up the van for distribution.
- Maintaining stock levels
- Multi drop delivery
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Maintaining health & safety standards
- Working as part of a team in a fast paced environment

**Working hours**
- 42hrs per week
- Monday - Friday (No working weekends)
- 07.30 - 16.30
- £10.42 per hour
- Overtime available at £15.42ph after 42 hours.

**To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following**:

- Be flexible in your approach to work.

- Provide own steel toe cap safety boot and hi-vis
