**Environmental Advisor**

Balfour Beatty VINCI is proud to be designing and building a 90KM stretch of the West Midlands section of HS2. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Environmental Advisor** **within the** Sustainability Team.**

This role will be based on site in Stoneleigh, Coventry.

Building a 12KM stretch covering areas in Leamington Spa, Coventry, and Solihull. The sublot will be responsible for the creation of Viaducts, over bridges, under bridges and 8KM of roadworks as well as retaining structure at Stoneleigh park.

Reporting to an Environmental Manager. Responsible for helping to initiate and then maintain systems to ensure compliance with contract requirements and company standards and targets.

**Experience required**
- A sound knowledge of environmental legislation and principles of environmental management systems
- Firm grasp of the benefits of working collaboratively to obtain the best outcome
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Determination to see tasks through to completion, with excellent planning and organisation skills

**About Balfour Beatty VINCI**

Working together for over 30 years, Balfour Beatty VINCI have been successful in delivering several significant infrastructures; creating unrivalled expertise and capability across rail, highways and aviation sectors in the UK and beyond. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Overall, we will be building the following across all our sites:

- 42 viaducts totalling over 11km
- 66 overbridges
- More than 35 cuttings reaching over 30km
- 56 culverts - 66 embankments reaching over 33km
- Building four motorway crossings requiring box structures
- Six interfaces with the existing rail requiring both dive-under and overbridge structures
