**£40k + £6k Car Allowance**

Reed Procurement are partnered with a Manufacturing company in Cardiff who are looking for an experienced Indirect Buyer to join an experienced Indirect team. You’ll work closely with other internal departments and stakeholders from initial plans throughto sourcing, contract award and contract management. With an overall aim to deliver best value and lowest risk solutions to meet the needs of the business.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Assisting sites with their Indirect purchasing needs, work with project team and lead the purchasing actions including launching RFI, RFQ, qualify potential supplier, negotiate price, commercial terms and contract while ensuring compliance with group policies.
- Identify target categories and define an action plan, which should include: synergies with other sites, discussions with other teams about possible sourcing alternatives.
- Seek innovation in technologies and propose efficiency and cost out solutions to the business.
- Negotiate conditions with suppliers which improve upon existing terms.

**What you need**:

- 2+ years working within an Indirect Procurement function focusing on one/multiple of the following categories; ICT, Fleet, Capex, Professional Services etc.
- Strong strategic sourcing and procurement background.
- Full Lifecycle Contract Management - Monitoring and reviewing performance to budget, identifying opportunities for greater efficiencies, improved terms and value add activity.
- Demonstrated success in delivering significant cost savings on a year over year basis.
- Developing closer collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally to identify and drive continuous improvement activity and support the business long term strategy.
