**Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Officer**

Our well established financial services client based in Northwich are currently looking to add to their team on a permanent basis a Credit Risk Officer with a salary of £25000 on offer. If you have previous experience in Anti-Money Laundering then this couldbe the role for you, so do read on

**What does the role entail?**

As an AML officer you will be carrying out day to day tasks such as:

- Help ensure the Bank's AML systems and Controls meet or exceed required regulatory

standard.
- Assist to ensure the Bank's systems and controls meet or exceed the required regulatory standards in respect of Data protection and information security.
- Assist to ensure the Bank's Business Continuity plan is up to date, meeting or exceeding regulatory standards and is fit for purpose.
- Help ensure that the business maintains an appropriate level of awareness of AML and to monitor adherence to the firms Anti Money Laundering Policies and Procedures.
- Act as a key point of contact on money laundering issues.
- Draft reports to the senior management of the firm relating to the effectiveness of anti-money laundering procedures.
- Provide advice on regulatory issues on areas of responsibility to all areas of the Bank's business.
- Help arrange, administer and ensure that all staff have appropriate training in relation

to money laundering.
- Support the AML Officer and Deputy MLRO with day to day AML activities/projects.

**What skills will you have?**

To be considered for this AML Officer position you should have relevant experience within the financial services sector as well as being educated to a degree level. You should also have experience working as part of a multi-disciplined team, strong planningand organising skills as well as the ability to build professional relationships. You mut have the ability to undertake a variety of analysis and maintain accuracy and equality.
