Ramp Driver

Wilson Jame are looking for Ramp Drivers to join their team in Heathrow Airport.

Working as a member of the Passengers Services team, you will drive the company's Vehicles on the airfield to the aircraft to transfer Passengers Requiring Support (PRS) from the aircraft to the terminal building or from the terminal building to the aircraft.

You will also drive electric buggies and assist passengers in wheelchairs, when required to assist passengers within the terminal building.

**Main Duties**:

- Completing the daily Vehicle Check Sheet, to maintain the operational reliability of the vehicle, reporting where necessary, any vehicle defects in line with the Vehicle Inspection procedure
- Drive the company ambi-lifts or minibuses ensuring that the vehicle is safe and secure at all times
- Deliver or collect the passengers at the aircraft door and assist with the transfer into their seat or wheelchair through safe manual handling techniques
- Carry out Customer Care Agent/Ambi-lift or Minibus Driver duties as directed by the Control team
- Escorting arriving and departing passengers with reduced mobility through the airport, as required
- Providing assistance with baggage
- Ensuring that ambi-lifts, minibuses, wheelchairs and buggies are clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure that Control is updated on progress by use of IT handsets and radios
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed legibly and submitted in a timely manner
- Any additional reasonable duties as assigned by operational management
