**About the Role**:
Our chilled foods site in Carlisle employs around 1200 people across three factories and produces a huge range of ready meals and accompaniments for major retailers.

It is a busy, complex, fast-paced environment offering plenty of variety and this is a great opportunity to further your career and work with some great products. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and coordinating factory trials, taking products from handover through to final launch.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure quality products are launched on time and within budget.
- Managing multiple projects, prioritising requirements and working with the wider development team to deliver the NPD agenda and meet customers’ expectations.
- Proactively looking for new, more effective ways of working to improve processes and drive performance.

**About You**:

- Prior experience of working in a Process, NPD, or Technical role, ideally in a chilled foods manufacturing environment.
- Ideally qualified to HND or Degree level in Food Science or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work closely with colleagues at all levels and develop strong relationships with production/operational teams.
- A team player, keen to help and support other colleagues in the NPD team to ensure objectives and targets are met.
- Proactive in approach, able to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Good attention to detail, able to accurately record key data.
