**Group Warehouse & Fleet Supervisor**

**£23,000 per annum plus bens**

**The Role**

Working at our Clients site in Southend the role of Group warehouse & Fleet Supervisor is to ensure regular maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment; and maintain stock levels at agreed levels.

**Job Specific Functions**
- Must have a full UK driving license (preferably with no points / penalties) this is to take vehicles off site to be valeted
- Coordinating availability of vehicles and equipment for servicing and testing as necessary.
- To order hired plant /vehicles as required and ensure that anticipated hired period is known and recorded on the purchase order; and then subsequently ensure plant/ vehicles are off hired at the earliest opportunity and returned to the hire company in a clean/complete/operating condition.
- To issue plant, equipment, and materials to Compliance supervisors as necessary ensuring that all consumables and special equipment needs are recorded for cost analysis against individual job numbers.
- To control all stores (including remote stores) and workshop stock, expedite outstanding orders and reconcile all purchases with receipts and to ensure that all stores purchase orders are progressed efficiently, and all parts are correctly accounted for.
- To manage the maintenance of all company plant and equipment in a safe working order in all locations.
- To ensure that current COSHH and Health and Safety handling information is supplied by all suppliers as appropriate and that such information is passed to the appropriate staff as and when required.
- Carry out PAT testing of equipment in lines with company policy and guidelines and updating all relevant schedules.
- To ensure that all chemicals, solvents, paints etc. and any other hazardous materials are stored and handled in a safe manner in line with manufacturers guidelines.

**General Functions**
- To ensure that accounts copy of purchase orders are passed to accounts (noting any discrepancy) on the day of delivery.
- To ensure that the functions of the stores and workshop are efficiently carried out and that the requirements of the company are met in the most cost-effective manner.
- To implement system and procedures to satisfy all aspects of the stores and workshop operation to the satisfaction of the National Service Manager.
- To ensure that good housekeeping is maintained within the stores/workshop area of operation and that safety standards are adhered to - including remote stores.
- To ensure that any waste transported or disposed of by or on behalf of the company is done so in a safe and appropriate manner and that any necessary waste transfer/disposal documentation is completed and available for inspection as necessary using a reputable waste disposal company.

**Fleet Supervisor/Claims Handler**
- Update fleet spread sheet with mileage update and vehicle hand over
- Update Lightfoot with mileage/service and MOT updates
- Check Lightfoot for faults and disconnects
- Notify appropriate staff when services & MOT’s are due
- Ensure service forms are complete and services/MOT information is updated on fleet spread sheet and Lightfoot
- Update insurance company of new vehicles and taking vehicles off of insurance
- Ensure when a new vehicle is passed to driver they have relevant vehicle information, breakdown etc.
- Tax renewals for all vehicles
- Communicating with insurance/claims company regarding, accidents/claims etc.
- Ensuring accident form, photos and estimate has been passed to Claims
- Liaising with Driver through accidents, repairs, claims, court cases
- Arranging Breakdown for all vehicles
- Congestion Charge
- Once a vehicle has been sold from the fleet, update vehicle sheet, complete V5 logbook, take off congestion, insurance, confirm Lightfoot has been taken out and complete vehicle sold form for accounts.

**ISO Management/ISO Administrator**
- Update documents in ISO updating relevant excel documents in line with ISO standard
- Check that records on ISO have been updated by management, ie. PAT Testing etc,
- Set yearly ISO meeting with Managers
