**ABOUT THE POST**

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Library Content
& Digital Officer to join our busy Library Services & Special
Collections team, which plays a major role in learning, teaching and
research in the University, supporting both students and staff.

Reporting to the Acquisitions & Subscriptions Coordinator and a member
of the Library Content & Digital Team, you will be based at our Aldgate
campus initially (pending likely relocation of the team to another site
within inner London in 2024).

Working in a collaborative environment alongside another staff member in
the same role, the role is focused primarily on procurement of academic
library resources for the University's students and staff. This includes
detailed checking of online reading lists to ensure appropriate
provision of learning resources in both digital and physical formats,
including making decisions on resource purchases within a defined
framework. The role also involves working with library catalogue
records, specialist interfaces and resource usage data to maintain an
effective library resourcing service for our users.

flexibility and the ability to learn new processes effectively.

The role is available on a 0.8FTE basis and can be worked over four or
days per week may also be worked remotely in this role.
