The University has been at the forefront of agricultural education for over 175 years and is globally renowned for its links with industry and courses that are designed to meet the demands of the changing land-based sector.
The University is pursuing an ambitious strategy to improve quality, standards and the student experience. This involves the development of a new set of Academic Regulations, the revalidation of their programme portfolio, and a comprehensive review of theiracademic policy framework. To deliver these goals they are growing our Academic Quality team in the Academic Services Department, and they are seeking to recruit an Academic Quality Manager to provide operational management support. This role would be suitablefor an academic quality professional looking to further their career.
You will manage a team of 2.0 FTE with responsibility for academic governance and the annual quality assurance lifecycle. As Academic Quality Manager you will have experience of quality assurance in a higher education context with an understanding of highereducation regulatory requirements.
You will report to the Head of Academic Quality as part of the wider Academic Quality team which includes responsibility for collaborative partnerships, and student casework.
