Title: Cashier & Change Attendant

Location: Seaside Amusement Arcade

**Job Type**: Part-time (16 hours per week), Full-time during holidays

**Job Description**:
As a Cashier & Change Attendant at our seaside amusement park, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth cash transactions and maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide customers with accurate change and handle cash transactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, answering inquiries, and assisting with transactions.

2. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

3. Maintain a tidy and organized cash box, ensuring all bills and coins are properly sorted and accounted for.

4. Dispense change to customers in a timely manner, ensuring correct denominations and counts.

5. Monitor cash levels and notify management when additional change is needed.

6. Adhere to all cash handling procedures and policies to minimize errors and prevent theft.

7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and safe environment for patrons.

8. Assist with other duties as assigned by management, such as inventory counts or cleaning tasks.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in cash handling or cashiering preferred.

2. Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

5. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, with increased hours during peak seasons.

6. Confidence in handling cash and managing transactions independently.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week

- Weekends only

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
