_**Residential Activity Leaders - Short Term Contract**_

Required for August 2023

You will be involved with all pastoral aspects of the running of the summer residential netball and rugby camps. You and your team will be responsible for providing a great activity programme outside of the sports coaching timetable. This includes social events and fun activities during the late afternoons and evenings for our residential athletes. You will also be responsible for supervision and care of the students outside of their sports coaching programme ensuring they have all the support and guidance needed for the duration of their stay.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for you to enhance your communication, organisational, leadership and administration skills whilst providing pastoral support and guidance for young athletes. **We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable and motivated individuals to join our dedicated team.**The benefits package includes accommodation with shared bathroom facilities; all meals provided; and a free Gym and Swim membership for the duration of the summer camps.**
- **Course Dates and Salary**_
- The contract dates are Tuesday 15th August - Thursday 25th August 2023 plus a paid staff induction day of Friday 11th August 2023.
- There is a total of 7 days work between the dates above based on the sports camps dates. The Netball Camp is running from 15th - 17th August, and the senior rugby camp is running from 21st - 24th August 2023.
- The hours are 8 hours per day. This includes time allocated for preparation and administration. You will also be responsible for supervisory and extra-curricular duties, including overnight boarding.
- Activity Leaders salary is £10.90 per hour with accommodation and meals provided for the dates of the camps.
- In addition, attendance at the pre-course Induction Day will be paid on a pro rata basis, as will the statutory holiday entitlement.

In the interests of creating a strong team atmosphere at the summer sports camps, this is a residential role. The job requires you to be in attendance for duty on several overnight supervisory attendances.
