Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform painting and decorating (inc wallpapering) tasks, including surface preparation, painting, and finishing, to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance work on residential properties, addressing issues such as window frame repair, shed roof repair, and general handyman tasks.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with clients to ensure project requirements are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while carrying out tasks, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and minimizing risks to personnel and property.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in painting, decorating, and general handyman tasks, with a minimum of one year of practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in a range of skills related to domestic renovations and repairs, including but not limited to painting, plastering, tiling, carpentry, and (ideally) basic plumbing and electrical work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites as needed.

Salary and Benefits:

- Competitive hourly rate starting at £15 per hour, with potential for advancement based on performance and experience.
- After an initial 1 month trial you will be offered a 6-month temporary contract and then a permanent contract that will include all the standard statutory benefits of paid holiday, pension and sick pay.
