Working in partnership with global business that has demonstrated fast growth and market dominance to appoint a new role of Commercial Finance Manager. Not only will this role be a true business partner to the wider business but also senior finance and operationalstakeholders to give better transparency of the numbers and in turn driving the decision making. As Commercial Finance Manager, this role will take ownership of the business end to end performance, leading the planning and forecasting process whilst helpingto develop accurate reviews of margin, costs, waste, currency fluctuation and overall market impact.

As Commercial Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for, and not limited to:

- Managing a very capable and well qualified, commercial finance team
- Driving and delivering consistant weekly and monthly reporting whilst keeping one eye on not just the numbers but also on the commercial performance and plan and how these impact both finance and operations.
- Continuous review of costs versus forecast with ongoing product costing working closely with the buyers, supply chain and the end users.
- Embedding a general clarity and understanding of the numbers using insightful and clear commercial analysis, forecasting tools and ongoing partnership with operational and non-financial stakeholders, 'Heads of' and divisional MD's.
- Attend and lead regular performance reviews with senior stakeholders to review cost performance vs plan, strategic initiative delivery and overall P&L performance
- Leading the planning and forecasting processes, ensuring reliability and accuracy of the plans and forecasts including their delivery and presentation to senior members

Essentially this role is targeting a qualified ACMA/ACA/ACCA accountant with post qualified exposure ideally gained within the commercial accounting arena. Having managed reporting staff would be highly desirable in order to hit the ground running in thisCommercial Finance Manager role. Exposure within either the retail, manufacturing, transport and logistics field would be a distinct advantage although not a prerequisite.
