**Full time role - 8:30am - 5pm - working 38 weeks a year (34 weeks, with an additional 4 weeks inclusive of Inset days).**

Leading Independent day school, requires an experienced administrator to provide support as a careers coordinator. Assisting the Head of Higher Education and Careers, you will be integral with implementing and actioning the programme of careers and highereducation, information and guidance. **As Careers Coordinator, some of your key responsibilities will be to**:

- First point of contact for all visitors to the Careers Department
- Assist with organisation and administration of events
- Including Sixth form programme
- Liaise with catering manager to organise menus and book lunches
- Ensure the smooth running of the careers UCAS provision
- Attend and take minutes for weekly department meeting and evening group meetings
- Budget preparation
- Update information and data across all departments

**To fulfil the role of Careers Coordinator you must be/have**:

- Experience of working in a careers and or higher education setting in a school, university or sixth form college, highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with first class organisational and administrative skills
- High levels of initiative, self-management and administrative skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- A willingness to be flexible and to work outside term time and at weekends as necessary
