**Male Outreach Worker* (part time)**

**Salary: pro rata to £23,400 per annum (actual salary £13,000 per annum for 20 hours per week)**

Your Sanctuary is looking for a part-time Male Outreach Worker to join our team of community based specialists and help to empower male survivors of domestic abuse to live a life without fear. Using your communication skills and proactive attitude you will provide emotional and practical support, predominantly on a one to one basis, enabling male clients to reach informed decisions about their future. Undertaking risk assessments, safety planning and signposting are all part of the role as is advocating and joint working with external voluntary and statutory agencies to get the best possible outcomes for your clients.

You must:

- have experience of supporting individuals who have been affected by domestic abuse or other trauma, including undertaking risk assessments, preparing safety plans and working on a multi-agency basis;
- be well organised with a professional and flexible approach to your work along with a calm and re-assuring manner;
- Have a full driving licence and car you can use for work purposes.

This is a part-time post 20 hours per week Monday to Friday.
