Management Accountant

**Job Purpose**:

- Ensuring the commissions calculations and overall process within the Hamptons division is robust and accurate, with ownership over the month end routines, balance sheet reconciliations and financial control across other specific activities.

**Key Duties**:
**Hamptons Specific Duties**:

- Preparation of Monthly Hampton specific Accruals and Allocations.
- Calculation of estate agency commissions, liaise with Regional Directors and submit to payroll then deal with queries
- Review lettings staff commissions
- Calculate commission and profit share accrual on a monthly basis and calculate the quarterly payments due to staff
- Ensure a Hamptons specific processes are documented to adequate levels with evidencing controls and robust processes

**Wider Duties**:

- Reconciliation Reporting Analysis of Trade Debtor reporting and cash Management
- Posting Of Monthly Lettings Income and Reconciliation of the Debtors control account
- Managing the Bank Reconciliation Process, to ensure all bank account integrity and cash funding
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations - identifying and resolving issues or potential process improvements

**Required qualifications, experience and skills**:

- Professional qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA)
- Extensive experience with month-end responsibilities and balance sheet control
- Good Communication Skills, as liaison and relationship building with Operating staff is an important element of the role
- Intermediate Excel skills preferable (Presentation, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, Sumif(s) etc.)
- Evidence of taking ownership and resolving issues as they arise
