**The Home**

This role will be over two homes located on the same site. Slemish Nursing home is based on the Broughshane Road, with a new learning disability
- Holmes Court which has been newly built behind.

**The Role**

Under directions, delivers an efficient and affective maintenance service within Healthcare Ireland unit to assist in the well-being, safety, and comfort of residents.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Maintains a well decorated, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Ensures that Healthcare Ireland’s minimum standards are delivered in all units.
- Identifies and report damage, faults, and other related issues to line manager.
- Liaises with local contractors on site, as required, providing local knowledge and guidance in order that maintenance schedules can be on time.
- Deliver bloods, collect scripts and drive to suppliers when needed.

**You will need**:

- Valid Driving License and use of a car for company business.
- Basic numeracy and literacy are minimum requirement.
- The Right to Work in the UK
- One year experience in general work experience in maintenance.
