Job Summary:
We are seeking a grinder/ancillary worker to join our team. As a grinder/ancillary worker you will be responsible for grinding and polishing completed fabrications in preparation for painting, also ancillary duties will include operation of machinery to produce parts/components for production of steel fabrications.

**Duties**:

- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and grind metal components.
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to complete project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools. Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations

We are an established Engineering business based in St. Helens for over 30 years and we are looking to recruit a permanent Grinder/Ancillary worker to work on a diverse range of Fabrication and welding projects for blue chip clients.
The individual will be required to ensure all jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and produce work within required time frames whilst consistently achieving our quality standard (ISO9001).

Hours of work - Monday
- Thursday 7.00am - 5.15pm = 39hrs

Sat & Sun - Closed

Pay: £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
