**Senior Purchase to Pay Technician / Nottingham / £14.5 per hour / 6 Months**

Macildowie are excited to be working with a company based in Nottingham who are currently recruiting for a **Senior Purchase to Pay Technician** in a permanent basis to support and advice the finance team.

This is a full time, permanent position for an initial**6 months**. The salary for this role is **£14.5 per hour.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To oversee a small team of finance assistants undertaking purchase to pay duties, including training where required.
- To monitor compliance to purchase to pay processes and take action to address non-compliance.
- Purchase to pay standards and processes and associated Financial Regulations.
- Testing of reports, validating data on report.
- To support in the development and maintenance of effective standards and associated processes.
- Placing orders and receipts sorting through errors on invoices.
- Supporting the testing with testing of reports and system fixes.
- Day to day purchase to pay activities including administration of the purchase card system, coordination of the approvals process, resolution of invoices on hold ensuring non
- compliance to processes is addressed, working to close down timetables whereappropriate.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience using Finance systems.
- Experience with Purchase to Pay processes.
- Knowledge of VAT.
- A problem solver.
- Experience in the implementation of new systems.
- Accuracy and time management is essential.
