We are a well-established children’s day nursery in Outwood Wakefield and we are looking for a nursery cook to join our team.

This is a permanent part-time position and you will be taking care of children aged 6 months -5 years. A key part of the role is preparing good nutritious home cooked food for children aged 6 months -5 years.

To succeed in this position you will need:

- at least one year experience working in childcare
- a first aid certificate is preferred
- a genuine interest in working with children
- the ability to prepare nutritious food from scratch
- and have a positive, friendly attitude.
- high-level verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to maintain a clean and tidy kitchen

You will be working in great conditions, with a well established friendly team

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
