**Job description**

Ramsey Day Nursery is looking for a 1:1 Practitioner to join their team.

We are looking for someone to work 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday and 8.30 - 12.30 in the holidays. There are more hours available should you wish to increase your working hours.

The position is available until September 2023, however there may be a possibility to continue in a new role in the nursery.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff: child ratios
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
- Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Report any child safeguarding or protection matters, including allegations and serious accidents/injuries to management
- Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

**Requirements and skills**:

- SEN awareness
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
