A multi-million Global Technical Solution provider requires an ambitious Business Development Executive looking to join a company that offers considerable career growth alongside some international travel.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Business Development Executive - electro-optic solutions / technical solution provider

As our Business Development Executive, you will provide sales support and develop key account business by understanding customer needs. You will also need to develop new B2B opportunities with OEM customers, build relationships with multiple stakeholders withinan organisation and identify cross-selling opportunities.

You will nee to travel to customer premises - predominantly in Europe and North America - to make presentations about the business and showcase capabilities, this will be approximately 20% of your time.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Business Development Executive - electro-optic solutions / technical solution provider

As our Business Development Executive, you will:

- Provide sales support and develop key account business by understanding customer needs
- Develop new B2B opportunities with OEM customers
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders within an organisation and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Negotiate with technical and purchasing departments towards a win-win solution
- Process RFQ, prepare offers, process purchase orders and issue order confirmations
- Build knowledge of technical concepts, industry trends, and competitor analysis to support R&D activity and strategy planning
- Support marketing activity and participation at industry conferences and events
- Engage with a multi-disciplinary team (technical, quality, production, commercial) and prepare unified proposals that exceed customer expectations

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Business Development Executive - electro-optic solutions / technical solution provider
- A proven track record of sales experience, ideally within a technical solution
- Degree qualified in either Business or any relevant technical field.
- Any knowledge of thin-film coatings would be of particular interest
- Professionalism to converse with customers and engage with colleagues adequately
- Ability to review, edit, and draft commercial documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills including the credibility to build, promote and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
