**Your new role**
The organisation provides a range of facilities including a purpose-built lecture theatre, meeting rooms, and open-plan spaces with AV and video conferencing capabilities. Your role will involve building client relationships using strong communication skills,delivering exceptional AV/VC knowledge, and supporting events and conferences both in-person and virtual. You will work with the Events Team and report to the Senior AV Technician, with responsibilities including handling leads and enquiries, proposing solutions,delivering events, and maintaining AV equipment.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be a success here, you will have have strong coordination and collaboration skills, and be able to work with internal departments and the events team to deliver technical aspects of conferences, courses, and events. You'll have technical expertise in audio-visualequipment and the ability to provide advice and support to clients, as well as a creative mind to develop cost-effective solutions.
Additionally, you will be able to operate equipment to high standards and provide technical support for virtual and hybrid productions. You will also have experience in maintaining and upgrading equipment and be able to provide training and deputise for theSenior AV Technician when necessary.
Technically, you will have competent all-round AV experience in sound, lighting, display technologies, video and presentation software and online events. This is in addition to a high level of IT literacy including computer graphics, networking, peripheralequipment and IT infrastructure.
