This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious General Operative to join an established engineering company based in Stonehouse

This market leading engineering business, operating in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and transportation.

**Main responsibilities**:
To prepare customers components to meet drawing / specification and cleaning requirements
- Hand filing and dressing of customer components
- Part-marking of customers components
- Movement and handling of customer product to required work areas
- Control of works orders to customer components.
- In process inspection of customer product
- The correct use of company documentation
- Keeping your work environment clean and tidy and practising good House keeping
- Ensure machines are operated according to site and manufacturers recommendations
- Prepare Customer product for Despatch, pack to ensure fit for Transport
- Monitoring and reporting on all material effecting processing.
- Keep Site Head Of Quality informed about site operation and problems
- Follow company health & safety procedures and disciplines

**Qualifications, experience and skills**:

- Good attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings advantageous
- FLT and First Aid experience advantageous

**Salary / package**:

- Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
- Life Assurance - 2 x annual salary rising to 4 x if join Company pension
