Main Purpose of Role:
To work in the Marketing department to create professional quality media content, management of social media and marketing, in a supported learning environment, to develop skills and achieve personal qualifications.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Adhere to the department and organisation H&S policies at all times & promote both near miss and incident reporting at all times
- To work under supervision to learn departmental skills
- To undertake relevant training as directed
- To take part in meetings, supervision and training as requested by the Manager
- Demonstrate initiative when reacting quickly to daily issues.
- Communicate with the customer at all times to ensure a satisfactory outcome
- Highlight training needs
- To undertake a development programme leading to Qualification as part of an apprenticeship
- Actively participate in a development plan as agreed with the line manager and HR

Person Specification/Profile:

- Minimum 5 x GCSEs (Grade 9-4) or equivalent including English and Maths, or satisfactory results (Merit/Distinction) in a relevant Level 2 qualification
- No prerequisite experience required but a demonstrable interest in Digital Content Creation and Social Media through school or hobby interests.
- Committed to completing an apprenticeship term along with the necessary educational attendance and studying required.
- Team orientated
- Ambitious, desire to grow and develop within the organization
- Able and willing to follow instruction and learn new tasks
- Able to work flexibly as part of a team
- Good communication/problem solving skills
- Driven to improve and demonstrates initiative
- Decisive with good attention to detail
