**Head of Climate Program**
Manufacture 2030 (M2030) is a fast-growth, purpose-led company working to accelerate progress towards the necessary carbon reduction targets needed to tackle the biggest challenge of our time. Our unique software platform and dedicated support services help global companies understand and reduce the Scope 3 emissions and other environmental impacts in their supply chains at scale.
We're now on the hunt for an experienced, motivated, and action-orientated leader for the M2030 Climate Action Program.
The Climate Action Program is a big part of what differentiates M2030 from our peers. It provides resources and support for businesses big and small to help them identify and implement opportunities to reduce their impacts/emissions.
Providing the program to serve a growing customer base in the thousands, spread across 70 countries, and covering multiple industries and individual job roles requires a can do attitude, great prioritization skills, and a good understanding of environmental sustainability topics.
The Climate Action Program is designed and deployed through highly scalable activities.
For example, recorded training videos, a calendar of live events, the creation of a network of partner organizations offering beneficial rates to M2030 customers, best practice templates, and much more.

**Responsibilities**:

- Devise and deliver the Climate Action Program, a program of support that helps thousands of M2030's customers reduce their environmental impacts.
- Create a network of expert partners to leverage for Climate Action Program activities
- Lead a small but growing team.
- Implement KPIs to measure the impact that the Climate Action Program creates.
- Engage with major blue-chip clients (supply chain owners) to understand their goals for their supply chain (suppliers) and to represent the Climate Action Program.
- Engage with (supplier) customers to understand their needs to further improve the program.
- Represent M2030 at relevant industry events/working groups
- Devise and pilot new service opportunities with partner organisations. For example, the program is currently piloting providing direct access to green finance opportunities in the US with an established partner.
- Create a recognizable brand amongst customers for the Climate Action Program, shaping and optimizing communications and customer value perception.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Domain knowledge and working experience in any of: Industrial Sustainability; Carbon Management; Climate Change (business context); Sustainable Supply Chains
- Experience leading a team in a complex fast moving environment
- Proven track record solving challenges to delivery measurable outcomes
- Great communication skills. You'll be working with customers in over 70 countries, as well as at industry working groups and internal team members across the globe.
- Robust organization and prioritization skills. There will be multiple on-going projects to manage, new challenges to solve, and outcomes to deliver.
- Proactive and hardworking. While strategic in nature, this will be a hands on role.

**Beneficial extra skills and experience**:

- Experience of online event organization & delivery
- Experience building networks - for example of partner organizations
- Experience of communications & marketing
- Speaking/reading multiple languages
- Experience working in EU/US/Asia - all of which are areas the team covers
- Experience of supply chain sustainability
