**Salary Range: £35,000 to £40,000 Per Annum + Strong Package (Negotiable on relevant experience)**

Our client, a large and growing Civil Engineering contractor working on HS2, is currently looking to add a Utility Coordinator to their team on a permanent basis, where you will get the opportunity to work as part of a large collaborative team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the approval of ‘Permit to works’ and protection of utility assets within a sector of HS2, working independently to the Construction team and existing utilities teams, to ensure that the Utility-Owner plans, service drawings (GIS) and ‘As Built’ records are current and available to the construction teams.

You will review and approve all plans to break ground and ensure works are planned and completed in accordance to utility standards, supporting site teams in achieving a fully compliant and safe delivery of all work. Furthermore, you will act as a point of contact with services providers for coordination of access requirements or if issues on site.

**_ In this role, you will be expected to: _**
- Take ownership of assigned projects and works, including the approval for Permit to Work.
- Review and approval plans prior to break ground
- Ensure works are planned in accordance with activities and utility detection standards.
- Support the wider team to ensure full compliance surrounding utility works, ensuring all paperwork is in place.
- Ensuring all required information if recorded, readying for As-Built surveys.
- Coordination with both internal and external parties, including stakeholders.
- Previous experience in construction/utilities.
- Relevant safety qualifications such as SMSTS, IOSH, EUSR, or NVQ Equivalent.
- Experience and understanding of GIS.
- Working knowledge of G26 (Overhead) and HSG47 (Underground) services, including procedures with working around Multi Utility / Multi Utilities.
- Awareness and understanding of other key industry documentation / terminology (such as HAUC, CDM Regulations, PAS 128 & 256, Self Lay Process etc).
- Strong communication skills, including stakeholder management - both internally and externally.
- Proficient in MS Office Programs and I.T.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation
- Adapts with ease to new ways of working and fast changing environments
