Veterinary Receptionist

**The role**
We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Client Care Assistant) to join our Wokingham 24 hour hospital in a permanent role, 25 hours per week.
Everyone here is focused on our patients and clients, and you will be too as you answer calls and queries, make appointments and take payments, and ensure the practice is safe and well-stocked.
This position will best suit a proactive enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and exceptional communication skills. You will be able to multitask, remain calm under pressure and priorities your workload whilst maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition.
**Key accountabilities**
The duties of the Veterinary Receptionist (Client Care Assistant) include but are not limited to:
Prompt and efficient telephone answering
Dealing with routine client queries
Making appointments
Taking payments
Money handling and banking
Stock Management
**Skills and experience**
Reception and Administration experience is essential, you’ll also receive support and training. You must share our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you’ll also take the initiative in customer service and have caring, thoughtful communication skills.

Able to solve problems
Good telephone skills and manner.
Engaging manner with clients and team members
Animal lover
No unspent criminal convictions.
Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable but not essential.
**Branch**
The branch is situated on the outskirts of Wokingham, a bustling market town with plenty of shops, restaurants, leisure facilities and excellent choice of schools. With its newly renovated train station and location less than 40 miles from London, Wokingham is perfect base to explore the south of England.
Come join this team of friendly and experienced vets, nurses and receptionists. The day team consists of five vets and visiting cardiologist twice weekly. We also have a night team in order continue to provide 24 hour round the clock exceptional care.
