Are you looking for a new challenge at Avara Foods? Would you like to join the Technical** **department as a Technical Team Leader?
**About the role**
The Technical Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring food safety and product quality conform to legislative, Avara and customer requirements.
As a key player of the Technical team, based at our Grandstand Road factory, you'll be the central food safety & product quality point of contact when onsite.
**Working Hours**
Monday - Friday Rotating Shifts 05:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 23:00
**Benefits**
Competitive salary of £32,500 - £34,000.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing guidance and support to operations and be the first port of call for out of hours decision making on food safety and product quality concerns.
- Producing weekly KPI reports and coordinating the communication of said reports and any other key events.
- Driving continuous improvement and managing weekly/monthly technical task lists with your team.
- Act upon and follow up on any production-based non-conformance's, FSIR’s and other reportable issues.
**What do I need to be successful?**
- Someone with a good understanding of the process from kill to pack, food safety, product quality standards and customer requirements.
- Computer literate in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to review and trend data.
