Closing date: Friday 2nd June 2023This exciting new post of Senior Sports Coach has been created to co-ordinate and deliver a football programmes for children and adults in line with the LiveArgyll Leisure and Support Sector Plan and in support of local community needs.

They will responsible for sports coaches who deliver the sessions as part of the LiveArgyll Sports Programme.
- Essential Criteria:

- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 coaching qualification (or Equivalent)
- First Aid Certificate
- Work experience in a sports coaching environment for both children and adults
- Work experience in managing a range of sports programmes
- Experience of mentoring and supporting sports coaches
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating sports programmes
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic IT skills
- A clear understanding of all aspects of the sports coaching industry
- The jobholder will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Argyll and Bute to meet the operational requirements of the Service.

This post will require evening and weekend working.
