Cherry Professional are recruiting for a **Payroll Technician/Pension Specialist** on an 8-month fixed term contract. Initially to support the current pension administration team with changes ensuring all pension and associated payroll complianceis met.
This role is **fully remote role.**About the role**
- Manage member pension administration of all sections of company pension schemes.
- Perform monthly checks of pension contributions to include comparisons of expected versus actual during pay run process.
- Be first point of contact for any employee pension queries.
- Assist other members of the team with any pension processing queries/issues.
- Manage transfers of information to pension providers.
- Create and reconcile monthly payments to pension providers.
- Lead administration processes for annual pension renewal.
- Prepare quarterly risk reports to meet pension department requirements.**About you**
- Strong payroll legislation knowledge.
- Strong technical knowledge of pension legislation and how it interacts with payroll processing.
- Advanced Excel Skills.
- Ability to work accurately and to deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Organised.
- Good communicator.
- Able to work to deadlines.
