Solar Pv Installer

This successful renewable energy provider seeks two Solar PV Installers to join their highly professional team. Domestic and Commercial installations are covered for Solar PV, Batteries, Solar Thermal, and Hybrid PV-T systems.

Domestic installations are mainly in Kent. Commercial installations can be nationwide with appropriate travel and accommodation expenses covered. The roles are full-time.

Solar PV Installer Experience:

- Experience installing and commissioning solar photovoltaic installations.
- Experience supervising small teams of operators and being comfortable interacting with clients.
- Previous customer service experience and professional and polite at all times
- Proactive and self-motivated

You will be responsible for
- Installation of renewable energy technologies
- Working as part of a team to ensure that all systems are installed to a high standard and delivered on time, and compliant with design documentation
- The ability to understand schematics/ drawings used for solar installations
- The installation and commissioning of all DC/AC cabling, inverters/ batteries, and connection to the distribution switchgear.
- Ensuring electrical work complies with current regulations and site-specific RAMS
- Processing project forms and carrying out site surveys
- Communicating and assisting with any electrical aspects of the project designs and surveys
- Maintaining regular communication with the management team

Experience installing roof mounting systems and associated tiling works, inspection and testing, and solar PV would be beneficial.

Desirable Qualifications:

- BPEC - Solar PV
- ECS/ CIS Card
- Electrical Installation Level 3 / Inspection & Testing 2391/2394/2395 (or working towards)
- 18th Edition
- SMSTS/ SSSTS
- Working at Height, First Aid, IPAF/ PASMA
