Reporting to the Head of UX your day to day will involve designing and creating user-friendly and impactful experiences across our SaaS and VR solutions, while being proactive to improve existing designs and experiences. You'll play a key part in maintaining,developing and evolving the design system to ensure best UX practices and consistency is met across our product portfolio.
You will be working directly with front-end and back-end software developers and the business analyst team to understand the requirements of each task, taking care to understand the user stories presented and then designing solutions in an iterative continuousimprovement-based workflow.

You'll need to be an effective storyteller, who can communicate and collaborate with product owners, business analysts, stakeholders, and developers to give strong reasoning for design choices and to present, experiment and iterate multiple concepts with supportingevidence.
**Role/Requirements**
**Responsibilities**
- Champion the user while defining UX opportunities and identifying use cases.
- Create interactive prototypes and carry out research for remote usability testing.
- Share and communicate designs with cross-functional teams for review and feedback.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to turn high level product requirements into work-flows and interactive prototypes.
- Work with the Customer Experience team to understand customer challenges that can inform your decision making.
- Create, manage, and provide design assets to VR and platform teams.
**Skills and experience**
- 4+ years’ experience in UX and UI design for software and business systems.
- Sound knowledge of best UX and accessibility practices.
- Proficiency with Adobe creative cloud; Adobe XD and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of working within design systems and creating shareable libraries.
- Experience of working on large software platforms and eco-systems.
- Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods to identify challenges and evaluate concepts, including user metrics, usability testing and surveys.
- Ability to establish user testing strategies with clients to understand current usability and establish improvements and developments.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise work and cope with competing demands.
- Strong work ethic, analytical mindset and a positive attitude to dealing with people.
- Familiarity with common scheduling, task and issue tracking tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of VR user interface design is highly desirable.
- Experience in data visualisation is a bonus.
