Reed Tutors is delighted to be recognised as an accredited tuition partner with the National Tutoring Programme (NTP), delivering 1:1 and small group intervention within local authority-funded and independent education settings. The programme will ensureaccessible, differentiated, and high-quality tuition available to pupils nationwide.

We are currently looking for Tutors to work with KS1 and KS2 pupils for the Spring and Summer terms, working within a school setting.The successful teacher will ideally hold a teaching qualification or have experience tutoring, as well as being up to datewith the Primary curriculum.

What you can expect within this role:

- Providing quality education and care for children.
- Preparing and delivering lesson plans that meet the National Curriculum.
- Leading sessions of 1 to a maximum of 6 pupils.
- Working across the curriculum to educate in English, Maths and Science.
- Using a variety of learning techniques to support the learner, utilising a cross curricular or topic-based approach.
- Planning and providing a caring and stimulating environment that is appropriate for individual children and enables them to reach their full potential.
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with children.
- Observing and assessing pupils’ development and keeping accurate record of their achievement - ensuring such information is fed back to the school.
- Ensuring that the service you provide to learners is thorough, inspiring and aids in their development.

**What you will need **
- To be an accomplished tutor with a competent use of IT.
- Degree level qualification or 6 months minimum experience within a school setting

- Experience and ability to plan, prepare and deliver tuition from your own resources which will have impact
