INTO University of Exeter is currently looking to hire a Barista to work as part of the catering team to provide front of house retail services to our students in the INTO Café and the Avon Shop convenience store. This includes tasks such as serving hot and cold snacks and beverages, preparation and cooking of food, and general café/shop assistant duties.

**You will be working around 22.5 hours per week which will be split across Mon-Fri. The hours of 10am - 2.30pm are mandatory, outside of this we are flexible.**

- Working front-of-house, and assisting with the serving, preparation and cooking of hot and cold food as required, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Act as a barista creating hot and cold drinks for customers
- Checking and unloading deliveries, assisting with stock control and stock taking
- Creation of order lists
- Cleaning of the relevant areas to ensure hygiene standards are continually maintained
- Assist with in-house catering functions

If you have a Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate (L2) and you have worked in catering and cleaning environments in the past, this is highly desirable. However, we do not require this, and would be happy to support you in gaining your Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate (L2) whilst working with us.
